Azita Ghanizada

Azita Ghanizada has been the Afghan American actress in the United States who has appeared in a number of television shows. The family she was born into fled Afghanistan and seeking refuge in the US. She was born there. She was raised by her two sisters and two sisters in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada began her on-air camera career by being featured in numerous National Commercials. Ghanizada was portrayed by Chiara in Laura Neri's movie A Kiss on the Nose (2003). In recognition of her performance, she won during the Festival of Cannes for Best Actress. She's appeared in TV shows such as How I Met Your Mother, Entourage Veronica Mars, The Wedding Bells NuMB3RS Bones Psych and Castle. Most recently, she played as a character supporting for the film Blood Shot (2009). She also appeared as an uninvolved comedian in You Only Better 2009. In 2008 Ghanizada became part of the cast for The General Hospital prime-time spin-off General Hospital. In the second season of Nightshift, she was holistic specialist the Dr. Saira Bastra. Ghanizada was cast as Kelly the Prada salesgirl on HBO Entourage.
